Built for the way tailoring businesses actually work

From measurement to delivery. One system.

ARTPOS is the operating system for modern tailoring shops — not a generic till with extra fields. Customers, measurements, orders, production, inventory, quality, payments and delivery stay connected.

Tailors · boutiques · bespoke · alterations · multi-tailor workshops

ARTPOS v1.2 · Dashboard What the counter opens in the morning: today's orders, what's due, what's owed.

01

Safe offline queues

Keep working when connectivity drops — customers, orders and measurements queue. Payments, inventory and delivery completion wait until you're online.

02

Browser, tablet or counter

Use ARTPOS from your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile browser. Installable as a PWA. Not a native iOS, Android or desktop app.

03

Made for stitching work

Measurements, cutting, stitching, QC and fittings are the system — not modules bolted onto a retail till.

You already know where the day leaks.

The register today

  • A customer's measurements are on a page from two years ago — if the book survived.
  • Nobody can say which orders are cut, which are stitched, which failed checking, which are late.
  • Deposits are remembered, not recorded. Balances get argued about at pickup.
  • The customer's own cloth gets mixed into shop stock, and nobody knows what the shop really owns.

With ARTPOS

  • Every customer keeps a record — measurement versions, photos, notes, every past order.
  • One board shows every order and its stage, from received through quality check to delivered.
  • Deposit in, balance due, invoice out — written down the moment it happens, with an audit trail.
  • Customer cloth is tracked against the order and never counted as shop inventory.

Generic POS vs ARTPOS

A till with extra fields is still a till.

Retail software sells a thing off a shelf. Tailoring sells work that does not exist yet — measured, cut, stitched, checked and handed over days later, often in the customer's own cloth.

Generic POS

  • SKU, barcode, stock on a shelf.
  • Checkout now, job done.
  • Measurements, fittings and QC live in a notebook.
  • Customer cloth gets mixed into shop stock — or not counted at all.

ARTPOS

  • Garment types, measurement versions, assigned tailor.
  • An order that walks cutting → stitching → finishing → QC → ready → delivery.
  • Quality check, fittings and rework are stages in the system, not side notes.
  • Shop fabric and customer fabric stay separate, down to the remaining metres.

The tailoring order lifecycle

Know what is being stitched, who is stitching it, and what is due next.

Every order walks the same tracked path. Nothing moves forward because someone said so — it moves because the stage was completed.

Delivered

WHEN IT FAILS CHECKING

QC failed → Rework → QC

A failed garment goes back to the karigar with the reason attached, and returns to the same check. The loop is recorded, not hidden.

THE RULE

Nothing reaches Ready without passing quality check.

A tailor cannot mark their own work finished and send it out. QC approval is required before an order can be collected or dispatched.

Walk the whole lifecycle →

Role-based workspaces

Not everyone needs access to everything.

Each person signs in to the work that is theirs. The karigar sees jobs, not revenue. The delivery rider sees drops, not the ledger.

01

Owner

Business overview, reports, staff, finance, inventory, settings.

02

Manager

Day-to-day operations, assignment, production, approvals and overrides.

03

Cashier / Reception

Customers, orders, payments and the front-desk work of the shop.

04

Tailor / Karigar

Assigned work, stitching and finishing steps, and the order details needed to do them.

05

Cutting Master

The cutting queue and cutting work — nothing else.

06

Delivery Staff

Pickups and deliveries — no access to financial information.

v1.2 · My Work What a karigar signs in to: their own jobs and their own due dates.

Offline, honestly

Keep working when connectivity drops — with safe offline queues.

Supported operations queue and sync when the signal returns. Financial and sensitive actions stay blocked until you're online. Everything does not work offline, and we will not say it does.

CAPTURED OFFLINE, SYNCED LATER

  • Customer drafts
  • Order drafts
  • Measurements
  • Non-financial status changes

  • Voice notes

BLOCKED UNTIL YOU'RE ONLINE

  • Payments and refunds
  • Expenses
  • Inventory and purchasing
  • Ledger
  • Delivery completion
  • Permission changes

Queued work syncs automatically when connectivity returns.

SOLO

One person

Customers, measurements, orders, payments, production — your register and your memory.

GROWING SHOP

A small team

Staff, tailors, production board, inventory and delivery — assigned by name, not by shouting.

MULTI-BRANCH

More than one shop

Each branch keeps its own orders, stock and staff. Work is not auto-routed between a head office and a workshop.

Trust

This is your business record. We treat it that way.

Role-based permissions

Access follows the job, not the person who asked.

Tenant isolation

Your business's data is yours alone.

Branch isolation

A branch sees its own operations by default.

Authenticated media

Photos and voice notes are not public links.

Audit history

Who changed what, and when.

Controlled refunds

Refunds carry a reason, an actor and a history.

Secure public tracking

Token-based, and it never shows money or personal details.

No fake confirmations

Nothing is marked paid or sent unless it was.

Honest offline behaviour

What can't run offline says so, rather than failing quietly.

Every customer.
Every measurement.
Every stitch.
